Units for Solvent Recycling
Functional Principle of Vacuum Distillation
The polluted solvent is drawn into the distillation vessel via the optional pre-heater unit and the
admission valve by means of vacuum. Subsequently, the contents of the distillation vessel is indirectly heated by
thermo-oil inside the double jacket. The solvent evaporates and is exhausted out of the steam vessel by the vacuum
pump. Finally, it is cooled in a condenser by an external medium.

The clean solvent (distillate) can be resupplied instantly, or it can be held ready in suitable
storage tanks / barrels. The remaining residues are manually or automatically removed after one or more
distillation processes.
